Introduction:
PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) is a common endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age. It is characterized by irregular menstruation, ovarian cyst formation, weight gain, acne, and hormonal imbalance.
In Ayurveda, PCOD can be correlated with Artava Kshaya, Nashtartava, and Granthi conditions involving Kapha-Vata imbalance, Agnimandya, and Ama accumulation, affecting Artavavaha Srotas.
