- Severe pain and stiffness of b/l finger joints
H/O Presenting complaints:
A 48 years old female, not a k/c/o DM or HTN visited to our OPD with c/o severe pain, tenderness and stiffness of joints of b/l fingers since 4 years. Stiffness was more at morning ours and decreases towards the day progress. On examination, tenderness ++ over metacarpo phalangeal and proximal inter phalangeal joints of b/l hands. Warmth on touch, ROM restricted and painful. Her appetite was very poor. Pain was so severe sometimes. She was consulted Allopathic hospital 2 years before and they prescribed Methotrexate daily. Medicine was continued for many months and stopped. Then the symptoms got aggravated and she again started taking methotrexate. She was consulted here on last year and admitted for 28 days IP treatment

After completing 28 days IPT, she has got tremendous improvement from the symptoms. She had stopped taking Methotrexate. Her appetite became normal. Quality of life also improved. She has followed proper dietary regimen and medications for almost 3 months with regular follow ups. All symptoms were subsided.
